World Prosperity
After my ordeal in medical school, discussed in my career path story, I was fascinated to come across the website of World Prosperity. It is run by a former psychiatrist who grew disenchanted with the medical field, as well as other aspects of society, and decided to focus on bringing awareness to the root causes of these problems. One of the several focuses of World Prosperity is on reforming medicine, and specifically medical education reform. For a disillusioned former medical student with a passion for reform, this was a perfect opportunity.I wrote to Dr. Kerry, who runs the site, and we chatted. After a while, he encouraged me to begin writing a paper about medical education reform. Currently we have a rough draft of the paper, and I am working on condensing it down for submission and publication.
