The Friends of Ishmael Society is a great place for those who have already read Daniel Quinn's work and want to get involved, it is often too complex to adequately inform those who are still unfamiliar with his work. In order to introduce his work to a more mainstream audience, and make it easy for them to find the most basic introductory resources regarding his ideas, we created another website,
ReadIshmael.com. Through this site you can read more about Daniel Quinn, his ideas, and why we feel they are so important. You can also link to the most relevant spots on his website for newcomers, as well as purchase his books. Since most people in our culture have a heavy investment in their jobs, we designed the site to introduce people to Quinn's work through that perspective, though his work does focus on a much broader spectrum of areas.
