IMPORTANT LEGISLATION TO SUPPORT

Feel like the system is just too broken and there is nothing we can do but complain about it or tune out? Well here are some specific pieces of legislation that get to the root of the problem. With our support, they can make a great difference that goes to the very core of what's wrong with our democracy.
  • Our Democracy, Our Airwaves Act - Introduced by Senators John McCain (R-AZ), Russell Feingold (D-WI), and Richard Durbin (D-IL) this bill would require the nation's television and radio stations to live up to their public interest obligations by providing voters with more information about candidates and issues at election time. It seeks to provide voters with more and better information about candidates and issues, and to provide federal candidates the opportunity to earn broadcast ad time when they raise small dollar contributions.

Tell your Senators to support the Our Democracy, Our Airwaves Act
