CAZADERO, CALIFORNIA - OCTOBER 27, 2003

Woke up at Oshyan's in Cazadero and had some lunch. Then we headed out to negotiate our way through dirt, prickly plants, and critters along the creek on his property. Eventually, just decided to wade through it. Then borrowed a pair of Oshyan's hiking boots, and we made the strenuous hike up Big Oat Mountain. After resting up top, we made our way back down the slippery slope. Rested back at home, played some guitar, and then had a pasta dinner with salad including homegrown veggies and some bread from the local bakery. Talked to Oshyan's dad and stepmom for a while, and then went over to the community's common property to futilely attempt to capture the incredibly clear starry sky before heading back for bed.
