RELATIONSHIPS

From the moment we're born to the moment we die, the quality of our lives in all areas and our very character are affected, more than almost anything else, by our relationships. For many of us, relationships have a great element of mystery. We may struggle to understand their dynamics and even more so to improve them. Over the years, I've encountered various ideas, theories and techniques designed to help us understand how relationships work and to make them work better.

These tools have the power to make sense of and optimize our interactions with our families, friends, lovers, co-workers, neighbors and others. I can think of few other places where improvement has the power to make a more important impact.
